Overview

Manitham Social Work Organization ("Manitham Trust") accepts donations through its secure online payment gateway powered by Razorpay. We are committed to transparency and donor satisfaction. Please read this policy carefully before making a donation.

Donation Cancellation

  • Once a donation is successfully processed, it cannot be cancelled
  • Donations are voluntary contributions to a non-profit trust and are immediately allocated towards active programmes
  • If you wish to stop a recurring/monthly donation, please contact us at least 7 working days before the next scheduled payment date

Refund Policy

Manitham Trust does not offer refunds on donations under normal circumstances. However, refunds will be processed in the following cases:

Situation

  • Duplicate payment (charged twice for one transaction)
  • Technical error resulting in incorrect amount deducted
  • Payment debited but donation not received by Manitham Trust

Resolution

  • Full refund of the duplicate amount
  • Full refund of the excess amount
  • Full refund or reprocessing upon verification

Refund Process

  • All refund requests must be raised within 7 days of the transaction date
  • Refund requests raised after 7 days will not be entertained
  • To raise a refund request, email us at manithamorganization@yahoo.com with:
  • Full name
  • Transaction ID / Reference number
  • Amount
  • Date of transaction
  • Reason for refund request

Refund Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment source (bank account, UPI, or card)
  • Manitham Trust is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider

Tax Receipts

  • If a refund is processed, the corresponding 80G tax exemption receipt issued for that donation will be cancelled and invalidated
  • Donors are advised to inform their chartered accountant accordingly

Recurring Donations

  • Recurring monthly donations can be cancelled by contacting us at least 7 working days before the next deduction
  • Contact us via email or phone to process the cancellation
  • Amounts already deducted before cancellation request are non-refundable
